Perfect day to get some decking done at our koolewong project. We have been excited to see the view from up the top and it doesn't disappoint!!

We have used 90mm merbau decking here, screwed down with stainless decking screws. We always recommend using stainless fixings when ur close to the water.

With all this rain about we had to leave all outside work and start the "under cover" work.
This amazing transformation has completely transformed the front entrance to this beautiful home, it has given many options of entrances as there are stairs all the way around it.
140mm merbau decking was used on this project, just need to finish off leaching all the tannins in the merbau out so we can put 2 coats of oil down after a deck clean.

The weather is "apparently" taking a turn for the worse this week though, so we will be heading to another inside job tomorrow.

Back at it again on this new deck on the central coast. The old joists were cantilevered from the main house and were badly rotted, so definitely time for us to rip in and work some magic on this new much larger deck. Why wouldn't you extend it when you have a view like that to enjoy!!
