Some highlights from the week, and there are so many more I neglected to snap!

Ongoing heat and sun have been the norm.

We’ve powered through though, and I’m now looking forward to our brief break on Thursday.

Words cannot express my level of gratitude to Always happy, boundless energy.

We’ve had the most perfect short break here in the Blue Mountains.
Using our usual method of searching by price this little gem popped up - the “Shouse” (shed/house).
A passive straw/mud house on a bush block in Hazelbrook.
A short stroll from the house took us into the most amazing bush walk…4 hours of pristine scrub, creeks, waterfalls, clear (but freezing) pools and bountiful bird life.
The record player hosted Joni Mitchell, George Harrison, and other nostalgic tunes.
We will be back one winter so we can give the wood fire a workout.
Cheap, cheerful, slow, nourishing.
