Cladding almost complete and scaffold down - a key milestone as this renovation starts to feel more complete.

Next, we move into the rear undercover deck, featuring the Pioneer range in Blackbutt. A premium, low-maintenance finish that will elevate the space and complement the home’s overall design.

Not far off now - this area is set up perfectly for relaxed afternoons, good food and time well spent outdoors.

Some of our favourite finishing touches from this Umina Beach extension.

The aim was to create a new part of the home that felt full of character and seamlessly connected to the original house. We kept the palette mostly monotone, layering in warmth with subtle mid-century influences and carefully selected finishes.

The extension includes two bathrooms (one an ensuite), a laundry, parents’ retreat, dining and lounge spaces, and a flowing outdoor area designed for relaxed coastal living.

Really proud of how this one came together. ✨

Throwback to the early days of this extension in Umina Beach.
A great project that came together in just a few months thanks to careful planning and a solid team of reliable trades.

One of Cam’s biggest strengths is coordinating the trades and keeping everything running smoothly on site — which means the job stays on track and clients get a stress-free build. 🔨

Fun little job this weekend, very local in Umina Beach 🔨🌊

Old single garage was pretty well shot from termite damage, so it was demoed and we built a new little dwelling/storage space in its place. Kept the existing slab, then added a small undercover porch out the front – a potential spot for a BBQ area 🍗🔥

While we were there we also relined the external laundry to freshen it up 🫧
External laundries are a bit of a Umina classic – we actually had one ourselves up until recently!

Nice little transformation and a good way to make the most of the space 👍

Today’s progress: our custom timber MCM windows are in! These were designed to honour the original architecture while giving the home a fresh, warm update.

They’re not fully fitted off yet, but even at this stage you can see how much character they add. A huge feature and worth every bit of planning and stress to get them just right 👌
