Palisade or garrison? We get asked this all the time. Here's the breakdown:

Palisade is your high-security option.
3mm solid steel pales, anti-tamper shear bolts and a strong visual deterrent. Harder to cut, harder to breach.
Best suited to substations, rail corridors and industrial sites where security is non-negotiable.

Garrison sits in the medium-security space.
Prefabricated panels mean faster installs and lower cost across long runs.
It’s also a cleaner finish, better suited to schools, offices and public-facing sites where presentation matters.

Where people get it wrong is over-spec’ing.

Palisade isn’t always the answer. It takes longer to install, comes at a higher cost, and for standard commercial boundaries, it’s often more than what’s needed.

Around 1,200 people are killed and over 40,000 are seriously injured on our roads each year, and these numbers are preventable.

It hits close to home for us. Our crews travel site to site across WA every day, sometimes before sunrise, sometimes well after dark. We take road safety seriously because every one of them deserves to get home.

Whether it's between jobs, heading home, or on the weekend, this week is a reminder to slow down and drive safe out there.

Rob sits at the front end of our projects, working with clients, pricing jobs, and making sure everything stacks up before it hits site.

He’s responsible for building relationships, preparing accurate quotes and finding practical solutions that work in real conditions, not just on paper.

Rob’s been with WA Fenceworks for over 4 years and plays a key role in setting projects up properly from day one.
