Another epic deck restoration completed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was able to complete this project within some very tight timelines, the results speak for themselves.

This job involved the removal of a number of rotted decking boards and replacing them with new timber before undertaking a full surface restoration.

Timber decks adjoining pools or wet areas should be regularly inspected and maintained.

Timber decks should be regularly inspected, it’s not just about what you can see but more importantly what you can’t.

This timber deck was bouncy and the uneven boards were a hazard, simply being held together by the decking boards.

✅ removed the rotted bearers and replaced with new timber
✅ raised the deck 15mm and installed new anchor posts to stabilise
✅ replaced the worn decking boards with new merbau and stainless steel screws

Wow this is my first post for 2026, yes I’m still here and I’m busier than ever before.

I recently carried out some budget friendly minor repairs to this small 12 year old timber deck and then re-stained it, ready for a few more years.
