As the cost of everything seems to be rising dramatically. I would like to remind my customers that I have not raised my prices in 10 years. I am still grouping customers by town. Doing this avoids charging travel costs. As we head towards the burning season please be safe, be wise, book a sweep in advance ( so I can service your heating on the same day as others in your town).
Emergency call outs are charged at a higher rate, and I also have to then charge travel.

Don’t get caught out when the “Burning Season” comes. If you missed the Spring clean for your wood heating, book your sweep now. If you find that your flue is blocked, when the cold weather comes, or worse still repairs are needed; it can be costly, time consuming, and most of all cold 🥶. Letting your neighbors know that you have a chimney sweep booked keeps everyone safe and warm, and is efficient for me; as I cover a large area, and saves going to a town for an emergency call out and having to charge travel.

Many Children awake this morning to gifts from Sinterclaas, and his helpers called Pieten ( Black Piets, sooty Piets, or chimney Piets).

Spring is the time to get your chimneys, and flues swept. Also the time to schedule maintenance. This ensures that you will be ready ( and safe) to light up when the burning season comes again.

All wood heaters require routine maintenance!!
Modern “Super efficient “ ( clean green) ones especially!!
If they tell you that “emissions are lower” remember all those particulates have to go SOMEWHERE…
This is a “glassy” creosote build up in a modern efficient heater.
I service this one yearly ( as is required by most home insurers for wood heating).
Insurers DO NOT PAY OUT ON CHIMNEY FIRES, as this only happens when an appliance is not properly maintained.
There is still time to get your wood fired appliances cleaned/ serviced before the burning season, when demand and prices increase.
