Todays harvest in the midst of a good old Adelaide heat wave. Our firsr ever batch of sultana grapes.

I left a few for the birds that visit our yard because its been over 40C for 2 days and will be hot all week. I cant imagine there are many natural food sources that are easy for them ro access right now.

I'm getting more and more tomatoes each day but am struggling with my other veggies.
The only zuchini and cucumber plants that took off are in an area that is crowded and does not get enough light. 😫

Today's harvest: apricots

I finally picked them! They ripen at a vert busy time of year and so they often stay on tge tree much longer than they should.

These grow in my frony yard and provide a wonderful opportunity for me to connect with my community.

A very big thankyou to some lovely neighbours who happened to walk past and offered ti help me pick some!
