Today’s Job 🔥
We removed the old heater and discovered a cut-out in the tiles underneath. To tidy things up, we replaced the entire base tiles, giving the corner a fresh and neat finish. Once the glue had set, we installed the Prime 200C wood heater.

The customer requested a straight flue run, so we pulled the heater forward to project more warmth into the living room while still keeping all clearances correct ✅.

To top it all off, the customer spoiled us with homemade muffins for morning smoko 🧁☕—a very warm job all round!

A beautiful charcoal Norseman Nevada MkII now taking pride of place in the corner of this living room. The customers had always pictured a wood heater in this exact spot to complete their home, but a roof truss stood in the way of a straight flue run.

With some careful planning and the use of 45° bends, we were able to work around the challenge and bring their vision to life without compromise. The result — a clean, stylish installation that provides warmth, atmosphere, and the cozy woodfire experience they’ve always dreamed of.

Another project finished with happy customers and a home transformed for the colder months. 🔥

🚨 Safety First! 🚨

We recently got called out to inspect this heater after the customer noticed it wasn’t performing as it should. During the flue sweep, the entire single-skin flue collapsed all the way down to the first floor – a dangerous setup that should never have been installed.

After reviewing the builder’s installation photos, it was clear this heater had not been fitted correctly from the start. We removed the unit, cut out the unsafe framing, and reinstalled it properly into a Zero Clearance box – exactly what was required. We then fitted a triple-skin flue system, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency.

Once completed, we fired it up and the results spoke for themselves – safe, warm, and working to its full potential. The customers couldn’t be happier, switching off their old gas heater and enjoying the comfort of real wood heat. 🔥
