Highly nutritious native superfood. Related to the mango, it is renowned for containing exceptionally high levels of dietary fiber and up to five times the level of antioxidants found in blueberries. Contains essential minerals such as potassium, iron and calcium to support heart and bone health.
Once ripe it develops a sweet-tart plum-grape flavour and can be eaten as a fruit or used in various culinary recipe! 😊

🌿 Thinking about starting a new native garden? 🌿

Here are a few reasons why planting natives is a great choice:

✅ Attract and support local wildlife – Native plants provide food and shelter for birds, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial creatures.

✅ Create a balanced ecosystem – Native gardens work with nature, helping to establish a healthier and more resilient environment.

✅ Use less water – Australian native plants are adapted to local conditions and generally require less watering once established.

✅ Reduce the need for pesticides – A diverse native garden encourages beneficial insects that help keep pests under control naturally.

✅ Fewer diseases and maintenance issues – Native species are often better suited to local soils and climate.

✅ Protect the environment – Choosing natives helps reduce the risk of exotic plants escaping into the bush and becoming invasive weeds.

You know where to go to get your native garden started 😉
