Looking for something different for your backyard? White Sapote, also known as Aztec Fruit, is a highly sought-after fruit tree that produces delicious creamy fruit with a sweet vanilla custard flavour.

This is a grafted plant, meaning it will fruit much sooner than seed-grown trees.

TARO PLANT

Looking for a productive, easy-care food plant that thrives in Newcastle conditions? Pacific Taro is one of the most popular staple crops throughout the Pacific Islands and is prized for its large edible tubers, attractive tropical foliage and reliable growth.

This long variety produces large underground tubers that can reach 3–4kg under good growing conditions. The delicious starchy tubers can be cooked and used in many of the same ways as potatoes, while the large heart-shaped leaves create a stunning tropical look in the garden.
