🌿 Winter Closure Reminder 🌿

Just a friendly reminder that today, Tuesday 2nd June, is the last day to place orders before our winter closure.

🚚 Wednesday 3rd June will be the final day for pickups and deliveries.

The nursery will then be closed for all orders from 3rd June 2026 until Sunday 19th July 2026 inclusive.

We would like to sincerely thank all our customers for your support and custom throughout the season. We look forward to helping with all your Heliconia needs again when we reopen in spring!

A bit of a rainy weekend… but perfect timing because the ground will be nice and soft for planting those beautiful heliconias! 🌿🌧️

A hardy and tall heliconia, very large red bracts with thin gold edges, and large dramatic foliage. Grows 3 to 6m. Full sun to part shade. Clumping, slightly weeping stems. Moist well drained soil, rich in organic matter Flowers Summer / Autumn

HELICONIA TROPICS - an outstanding all rounder heliconia. Hardy, ideal in full Sun/reflected heat areas ( around pools next to metal sheds/fences) AVAILABLE NOW IN 3 SIZES 180mm/250mm/300mm pots.

A vigorous grower with a tight clumping and upright habit. Great for cut flowers and as a landscaping plant, in particular dense screening. Bracts are pastel red toward the tips, fading to peach at the base. Grows 1.5 to 2.5m. Full sun to part shade. Tight clumping, upright. Moist well drained soil, rich in organic matter. Flowers Summer / Autumn

Typical height in 200mm pot is 90cm, 250 mm pot is 1.2m and 300 mm pot is 1.5m.
