Restoring weatherboard homes to their former glory is incredibly satisfying. This farmhouse has been given a new lease on life with careful preparation and multiple coats of paint. The deck's transformation was particularly striking, enhancing the overall finish. Seeing projects through from start to finish validates the hard work and dedication that goes into each restoration.

The recent project presented a substantial challenge. By stripping the trims in both bedrooms to their natural timber, we were able to achieve a stunning transformation. Two days of meticulous sanding, preparation, and varnishing ultimately led to an exceptional outcome. With two bedrooms, a bathroom, toilet, entrance, and hallway renovated, the house is well on its way to becoming a home. I find great satisfaction in breathing new life into old spaces, and my pride in this project is evident.
The clients are rapt and that makes it all worthwhile.

How can anyone not feel a sense of pride looking at the final result of this project? By removing the old wallpaper and stripping the trims, I was able to breathe new life into this old bedroom. After careful preparation and a solid undercoat, I was able to achieve a flawless finish. The trims needed a thorough strip and sand back to remove the old paint and varnish, allowing me to apply a beautiful chocolate stain and varnish. Projects like this are incredibly rewarding.

This one turned out ridiculously well and the results were totally worth it. A few massive days of prep really paid off big time, and I got to use pretty much every trick in the book from my 25 years of experience to tackle all the crazy issues that came up. But hey, persistence and resistance won out in the end. The pièce de résistance was the seamless epoxy with a fleck finish on the patio and steps - it looks absolutely incredible. Shoutout to Gordon and the crew at Haymes Paint in Warragul for their top-notch guidance and assistance, it all came together without a hitch.
John and the boys at Cornwall Building have yet again nailed it and got a fantastic result with all the trades working together to meet the short deadline.
