Whilst doing tree inspections this week we came across this very large Cypress that was split down the middle from recent heavy weather and ready to fall on the owners shed! After securing the failed stem with 5 ton ratchets we were on site the following day to sort it out😅

Spent the day removing large amounts of dead wood from this glorious manner gum (Eucalyptus viminalis) from Buninyong this week. We also crown thinned and inspected lateral scaffold branch unions. An absolute rippa of a tree ! 🎄

Something a little different! Managing our clients over 500 + oak trees at their truffle farm. The tree management for production trees is very different from amenity trees, hence the aggressive pruning style - topping out trees is a strict no no in normal circumstances. 🙂👍

One of our client’s trees struck by lightning ⚡😬. Just reinforces why you don't stand underneath trees when lighting is around! Fun fact: wood is a conductor of electricity.

Well done to our clients at Smythesdale! They checked their trees and found one had failed and got hung up in another tree. The other two behind it were teetering, ready to go and fall on the only water supply to the family home😬! We were able to secure and rig down all trees without any damage to property. 👌
