Spring is the busiest time of year in the housing market, and the worst time to be underprepared.
Most vendors plan backwards from their listing date. The ones who sell for more plan backwards from photo day, because by the time the photographer arrives, the campaign is already won or lost.
Six weeks is roughly what it takes to do it properly. Not because styling takes six weeks, but because of everything that has to happen before it does. Repairs. Paint. Gardens. Then styling, last.
The mistake I see every September isn’t a styling mistake. It’s a timing one.
So if you’re listing this spring, the question isn’t whether to style. It’s whether you’ve left yourself enough runway to do it well.
Save this for when you’re ready. And send it to whoever’s about to list. 🤍
