Fresh paint job completed in Hammondville 🎨
This one was a bit different from the usual – a mix of interesting and uncommon wall colours that really bring character to the home. We finished it off with crisp white trims and fresh ceilings to make everything stand out nicely.
Always great to see how the right colours can completely transform a space.

Unit Refresh at Zetland 🎨✨

This unit got a fresh update while keeping the same colour scheme.
✔️ Walls were refreshed with the same colour for a clean, consistent finish
✔️ Ceilings were originally darker and needed 2 coats to brighten them up
✔️ Woodwork (including doors) finished with 2 coats of oil-based enamel for durability and a smooth gloss finish

Refreshing surfaces with one coat of the same colour is a great way to keep costs down while still making everything look fresh and well-maintained. Perfect for rentals or when you want a simple refresh! 👌

Soft Wash Cleaning – Villa Houses Complex 🏘️✨

It’s highly beneficial to soft wash surfaces before painting. A soft wash is a gentle mix of water, chlorine, and soap, ideal for cleaning exterior areas without damaging the surface.

This method removes mould, dirt, and bacteria, helping the new paint adhere better and last longer. 🎨
Unlike pressure washing, soft washing is gentle and won’t strip or damage delicate surfaces like render or weatherboards.

If you’re planning to repaint, consider a soft wash first for the best, longest-lasting results! 💧

Interior painting at Minto 🎨

In this project, the doors were painted darker than the walls for a nice contrast.
Some of the walls required 3 coats of paint to fully cover the previous black colour.

If you’re planning to switch from a dark to a light shade, remember — it often takes 3 to 4 coats for a perfect, even finish! 👌

Peeling paint on ceilings can happen for a few reasons:
⚡ Moisture or humidity in bathrooms and kitchens
⚡ Poor surface preparation before painting
⚡ Skipping primer or using the wrong products

At Heksa Painting, we know how to prevent it. 👨‍🎨

This particular ceiling hadn’t been primed at all. To fix it properly, we:
✔️ Scraped off all the peeling paint
✔️ Primed the entire surface
✔️ Applied a skim coat and sanded it smooth
✔️ Primed again for adhesion
✔️ Finished with 2 coats of premium ceiling paint

Now the ceiling looks brand new — and it’s protected for years to come. ✅

Bathroom Renovation at Cremorne 🚿✨

For this project, I focused on durability and a fresh, clean finish:
✔️ Applied undercoat to the ceiling, door, external wall, and cornice
✔️ Painted the bathroom with 3 coats of Anti-Mould Dulux Wash&Wear Kitchen & Bathroom for long-lasting protection
✔️ Painted the corridor wall with 2 coats of Wash&Wear
✔️ Painted the corridor ceiling with 2 coats of Taubmans Pure Performance
✔️ Finished the door with 2 coats of water-based enamel for a smooth, durable finish

Another bathroom brought back to life with the right prep and quality products! 🎨

Before & After – Bathroom and Toilet Refresh in Moorebank ✨

This project involved serious prep work to fix peeling paint on the cornices:
✔️ Scraped off all loose paint
✔️ Primed with oil-based primer
✔️ Patched and applied 2 coats of primer, then primed again with an undercoat

After the prep was perfect, I finished with:
🎨 2 coats of Dulux Kitchen & Bathroom on the walls and ceilings for mould resistance
🚪 1 coat of oil-based primer + 2 coats of Taubmans Water Based Enamel on the doors for a tough, smooth finish

The result? A bathroom and toilet that look fresh and are fully protected for years to come. 💪

Smooth, even coverage from start to finish! 🙌
I sprayed this wooden fence in Mona Vale with 2 thick coats of self-priming exterior paint, using a Graco sprayer for a flawless result with no interruptions.

Before painting, I made sure the surfaces were properly prepared:
🔧 Scraped off flaky paint
🪚 Repaired the fence wall with Builders Bog
🪞 Filled gaps for a smooth, clean finish

Then applied 2 coats of Taubmans AllWeather, giving this home a durable, weather-resistant finish that will look great for years to come. 🌦️🎨
