REPOST!! 2 years ago I made this post, and unfortunately this "short at the front and party at the back" is still in fashion 🤣.

In cooler temperatures and shadier aspects, keeping the leaf longer will help the plant stay thicker and stronger. Don't forget to keep up with regular Ironman Foliar Feeds, and why not add a "shot" of Verigrow into the mix as well. 2 Feeds in 1 bottle!

It’s always been the way when mowing your lawn in shady aspects though. Leave the leaf longer to allow as much leaf exposure as possible.

After yesterday’s rain 🌧️, and cooler morning temperatures, it’s now time to think about a wintergrass pre-emergent application.
Freehand Herbicide will treat up to 100m2 and is safe to use on buffalo, couch and kikuyu.

Best used with a spreader for an even application, pop on down and grab yours before they start taking over.

What should you be looking for in a “Premium Slow Release Fertiliser” ? 🧐

We’ve recently had a customer send photos through of a “hungry” looking lawn. When asked what products they used ( they purchased online from over East from a highly advertised FB site )
I thought I’d take a look at the analysis and compare to ours.
The first thing I noticed was their Nitrogen CONTROLLED RELEASE component . It was a measly 9%! Compared to OURS which is 76%🙀
It also contained limited trace elements which are needed for overall plant health.
At almost $60 for 10kg 🫣 it seems to be an expensive , yet very basic fertiliser hiding under a “controlled release umbrella”.

I convinced the customer to come down and grab a 10kg bucket of our PREMIUM SLOW RELEASE and combine with the Ironman (which also had a better formulation than the one he got).
Within 7 days, using our products, his lawn was looking a healthy, beautiful green colour again.

We have another week of extreme temperatures upon us. When this occurs our plants and lawn evapotranspire, meaning the water from the soil ( evaporation) and the water from the plants (transpiration) are at much higher levels, leaving our plants and lawns under higher stress.
Increasing the volume of water over this hot period, and making sure you’ve applied your quality wetting agents and water retainers, will help the plants cope a little better.
Apply a little extra hand water to those areas, plus a very light topping of yellow sand will help the grass come back as well.
