The Welby Garden Centre stocks a large selection of roses, fruit trees, shrubs and seedlings. We support and provide meaningful employment to people living with disabilities. We have many loyal customers that frequent our centre and enjoy their member discount rewards from shopping with us. You too can feel good about shopping with us and supporting a worthy cause. We stock a range of:

• Indoor plants and decorative pots
• Shrubs, roses, trees & hedging plants
• Seedlings, fruit trees & potting mixes
• Fertilisers, chemicals
• Giftware and Gardening tools
• Seeds

Onsite we propagate and raise some of our own plants and also provide wholesale at great prices. Welby Garden Centre also offers dedicated gardening work teams to work in YOUR garden. Quality services offered by our work teams include lawn mowing, edging, weeding, complete garden maintenance and planting. We’re excited to announce that Mrs Oldbuck’s Pantry will be providing the tea selection for our upcoming Trees & Teas workshop.
There’s something special about spending a crisp winter morning learning from experts, surrounded by the nursery, with a warm cup of locally blended tea in hand.
With Olivier Sofo sharing his renowned fruit tree pruning knowledge, Stephen Kennard from CutAbove Tools joining us on the day, and now a beautiful tea selection from Mrs Oldbuck’s Pantry, all the ingredients are coming together for a truly enjoyable winter gathering.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our June session has been cancelled.
The good news? Our remaining Trees & Teas workshop on Saturday 4 July is still going ahead — and bookings are filling fast!
Join renowned fruit tree pruning specialist Olivier Sofo for a relaxed and informative winter morning, where you’ll learn how to prune your fruit trees for improved health, structure and productivity.
We’re also excited to welcome Stephen Kennard from who will be joining us on the day with some special extras for attendees:

Last year, we decided to remodel a run down garden bed and turn it into something special ✨ Throughout Spring and Summer we’ve been able to make up some of the most gorgeous flower bouquets! This year, we are prepping for a bigger and better season of growth ☺️ we cannot wait to show you guys how it turns out 🌸
