Well we all know the drill by now! Our shop will be closed during this 5 day snap lockdown but we will be working from home taking orders and providing quotes.
If you have a measure or install already booked for this period, we will be in touch regarding the urgency of your job. If your security is compromised and install is essential, we can provide contact-free installation to your premises. We will be fully masked and carry gloves, hand sanitiser and disinfectant. We would kindly ask that if you need to speak to us on site, please be sure to wear your mask!

Due to the latest COVID19 Lockdown our shop will be closed from 2.30pm Thursday 26/5/21 until 10am Friday 4/6/21. We will also be unable to provide installation or service during this period except in very specific circumstances.

Whilst masks are no longer mandatory in retail stores, we will continue to wear them for the foreseeable future. We encourage our customers to do so too and have disposable masks available at the front door for your use. We will also continue to offer hand sanitiser and disposable gloves and our store is cleaned and sanitised on a daily basis.

Just a reminder to our valued customers, our COVID19 worksafe plan is still in place and will remain so for the foreseeable future. This means that:

*Social distancing limits apply in store and we can only allow a maximum of 4 people (including staff) in the store at any time.

Look for this label on your door. This is the only way to be sure your product has been fully tested to conform with security standards.
All our security doors now carry this label and we are very proud to add our own label to the door also!

Hi everyone!
Just an Update on our business during these ongoing tough times. Our shop has now reopened for business with a few restrictions and changes. We are looking forward to supplying you with Ballarat's best security and screen doors and are taking our health and yours very seriously. Our hygiene practices may seem stricter than other companies but we make no apologies for this!
1. Current trading hours are 10am-4pm, Monday- Friday only
2. Our front door is locked. This is so we can control the number of people in the shop at any one time. For assistance, just knock on the door and we will let you in!
3. Hand sanitiser and disposable gloves are available at the doorway. Please use these as you enter the shop. Crosses have been taped to the floor to indicate safe distancing.
4. We are short staffed at the moment, so please be patient. We are attending to jobs as quickly as we can but some delays or rescheduling may be required.
5. Our staff have all been instructed on safe practices for themselves and our clients. They are equipped with all the necessary PPE they require. Please let us know if you have any concerns about our staff.
6. PLEASE, if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, fever or other illness do not come into our store.
We are happy to deal with you over the phone or by email. We have a staff member who is completing cancer treatment at the moment who is immune compromised and we do not want to risk his health. Please observe correct distancing whilst in our store and sneeze or cough into your elbow.
7. Staff are cleaning and disinfecting the store constantly in an effort to keep the environment germ-free. Please do not handle stock unnecessarily.
You will notice some changes in store. The shop is freshly painted and we now have a new counter in store to serve you better. Several displays have also changed to create more space in the shop.

We are urgently seeking a security door detailer and installer with (preferably) one of the following trade qualifications: Carpenter, builder, joiner, welder, locksmith or fitter & turner. Alternatively you may have excellent tool skills and experience in building or assembly. Are your paperwork skills excellent but your tool skills a bit rusty? We may be able to train you.
If you are serious about working, are available to work full time (38hrs/week, Mon-Fri), willing to learn new skills and able to follow OH&S instructions then please send your resume to:

Hello all! What strange times we are living in at the moment. We wish to thank our customers for their patience and understanding over the past few weeks and take this chance to provide an update.
Although our shop is still closed for the time being, we are now able to conduct a limited number of measures and installs of security doors. These are only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the moment, with priority given to customers who have existing orders in our system. We are happy to take bookings for the next available time upon receipt of your deposit. Our office is manned part time by Dani, and she is also working from home at other times.
