Meet Edgar, the Director of Point Architects.

Edgar graduated from Deakin University in 1992 and gained experience at prominent architectural firms in Melbourne, such as the Buchan Group and Peddle Thorp Architects. As a lead architect, he developed expertise in high-density projects, meeting client needs while navigating planning and code requirements.

Edgar also acquired business acumen in areas such as time management, construction coordination, and client contract procurement. Managing his own firm allows him to remain hands-on and client-focused, ensuring quality ex*****on on every project while pursuing design excellence.

RESIDENTIAL || NORTH_LANE

The detailed elements of the facade demonstrate the exceptional quality contributing to the public realm.

The adjacent heritage building has become the catalyst for North_Lane, allowing the new building to sit comfortably within its context. This is seen though the bands of render identified on the neighbouring building that creates the grid affect within the podium facade. As well as the saw tooth roof and painted signage that has remained visible by incorporating a laneway that brings public access within the new and the old. The material palette goes hand in hand with this idea respectfully establishing similar brick and render finishes within North_Lane.
