While the frost is freezing trays solid outside, these little beauties are thriving under cover and getting ready to brighten Tasmanian gardens.

Our Pansy Multpacks are growing on nicely and will soon be bursting with colour through the coldest months of the year.

This morning we found nursery trays frozen solid, with ice building up thick enough to hold its shape when lifted out. The water in our trays didn’t just ice over — it became rock solid overnight. 🧊

While it might look brutal, winter plays an important role in the garden, helping many plants rest and prepare for a burst of growth when spring arrives.
