Had a nice day up in the brindys harvesting native peppers for food and medicine even caught a couple trout on the way home. We will have some dried peppercorns for sale once they’re dry watch this space.

What a perfect shot!

Photographer Christian Spencer captured the scene as a male emu led his chicks across Lake Gairdner, SA.

"A male emu leads his young across an immense salt lake after sunset in the Australian outback. After the female lays the eggs, the male sits on the nest and looks after the chicks for up to a year. They cross the salt lakes in search of food on the red granite islands."
