Weston Extension Frame stage:
Tall 2.85m high walls made out of LVL framing timber, for strength and precision straight sticks of timber to make perfectly straight walls. Ply sheeting on every wall to be able to install PVC cladding to match the existing house.
This build got a massive and smart ducted AC in both the new and existing building, to keep it toasty warm in winter and cool in summer.

We were out Wallarobba, doing some work on a farm cottage recently. We levelled off the brick piers in preparation for the floating floor install.

As a family we will be doing 9712 push for Mental Health. We are at day 4 of the challenge today and on day 10 myself and Fletcher will be doing the pushups as we drive to Darwin for our holiday, hopefully posting pic each day in a different town or state doing the challenge.

The Role:

We are seeking a first or second-year apprentice carpenter who is eager to develop their skills in the building industry. As part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience across various residential projects, working alongside skilled tradespeople who are passionate about mentoring and helping you grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with various carpentry tasks on residential renovation, extension, and new build projects
- Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Work closely with experienced carpenters to develop your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

- Must hold or be willing to obtain a Provisional or full driver’s license
- Must have a White Card – General Construction Induction Card

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety on-site
