We often get the question in winter 'Is my cryptomeria dying ?'
The answer is NO! !t's totally normal for cryptomeria to turn brownish or bronzy when the weather gets cold. A lot of evergreen species will do that to some degree but cryptomeria are pretty dramatic about it. They will stay brownish through the winter months and green back up when the weather warms up in spring.
The lovely bronze colour adds to the autumn/winter garden.
