We had the pleasure of talking with The Illawarra Flame Jeremy Lasek about some ideas we have to improve Green Infrastructure in Wollongong. Have a read! Hope you will lend your support via feedback to Wollongong Council to get some very simple repairs done on the Bike Track south of Wollongong, as well as incorporate more planting for cooling, habitat, biodiversity value, and beauty on precious Dharawal lands.

Got to listen to architect researcher Karage Karanja of Nairobi based Cave Bureau this evening - fascinating, stunning work, super interesting an strong message about the responsibility of designers in colonial and post-colonial territories to reckon with truth. Karanja interspersed chapters of his lecture with sharing from the audience of "objects of solidarity". These objects and stories from the Student and staff audience were also moved and powerful and included kaffiyehs, beads, fibres and fabric, books, photographs and more. Thanks for these Living Cities lectures themed on solidarity

Moonys first outing after hurting himself a week ago. He did himself a mischief with out of control zoomies and has been on serious rest. We're overjoyed to see him slowly getting his agility back!

Join the Illawarra Edible garden trail! Tickets on sale now.

I'm doing a lot of watering and walking in circles and even dug a big hole in preparing myself for hosting...(process, thinking, moving) The trail is a wonderful experience where you can meet Illawarra gardeners and learn about all kinds of gardens - community, verge, school, household, permaculture, and ours which is a no-mow jumble of all the things we love and want to be around - and sometimes, when we are very lucky and attentive, actually eat!

Worth the drive from Sydney friends, come for a lovely day!

D: its ok... NO... BABY GIRL.
*Jack slowly turns into an alpha wolf. Smiles cutely.
R: GO TO BED. Also what is Jack?
D: you my Alpha
Also I'm doing this bc back in my day there was no email. People used to use doves or owls. I remember when I got my Hogwarts letter in the good old days....

Also side note on 'scibbity toilet Ohio alpha beta' etc - has dubbed this craze a "child led Dada movement" and I'm dying

And another post from me! It's been a big couple of days! My heart is bursting! Look at these bloody beautifull people diagramming their connection to Dharawal Country!
I wish I had a better pic of ! She was flat out facilitating creative creatures big and small.
Congratulations to the organisers, citizen scientists, bush regenerators, land carers, filmmakers, and artists - thank you Lucy Loft and Alex Pike and James .pk you all put on a great day! I can't wait to make art with you all again soon!

Today me and our group of 13 had the pleasure of sharing a very short and intense 3 weeks of research into the Cumberland Plains. I think everyone's work came together really well! So nice!
