Process:
-Scrape loose flaking paint
-Patch with Gyprock Gold Topping compound
-Vacuum sand with Mirka ‘Roundy’
-Vacuum again with microfibre head
-Apply 1x coat Taubmans 3in1 Undercoat
-Apply 2x coats Wattyl Ultra high opacity Ceiling
-Clean up mess
-Another happy customer 😁

Including the satisfying task of restoring function to ‘stuck’ sash windows that haven’t been opened in years! Allowing obstructed surfaces to be painted for a clean finish 👌

Brand new life & shine for the back of this Hyundai iLoad ! ✨

All surfaces to be painted received a thorough sand with extra attention given to rusty spots via mechanically powered wire brush.

Vacuum of dust, wipe down with solvent and masking or removal of necessary components. Including plastic seal between front cabin.

Complete mist coat of etch primer, applied generously to any exposed metal. Duramax Undercoat followed by a finish of Duramax high performance enamel. 👌

OIL to WATER enamel conversion for these groovy doors 🤣👌

Oil based enamel provides a durable, smooth and level finish that is hard for water based enamel to emulate.

However there’s one issue that has yet to be solved with these solvent based paints… over time they are subject to yellowing 🟡🤮👎

It is clear to witness the difference in these pictures.

Water based enamel is the only option if you want your nice white woodwork and trims to stay that way 👌

These doors received one coat of oil based undercoat followed by two coats of silky semi gloss water based enamel. ✨

Feature wall colour shift 🔄✨

This red feature wall had outlived its welcome and was replaced with the rich deep blue of ‘Dulux Snapshot’ 📸

🔴 ⏩ 🔵

As well as a brightening/ whitening up of surrounding walls, ceilings and woodwork with ‘Dulux Lexicon Quarter’ ⚪️
