Turning a neglected veggie garden into a flower garden. As Spring hits, I’m excited to see what pops up with random flower seeds bought from The Seed Collection Pty Ltd .

A new garden design project in Woodend. Creating a cozy little seating nook so that my customer can watch the sun rise with a cup of tea! There will be lots of native grasses to enclose the area and more layering of various shrubs and plants encircling the nook. A path will then lead out and to the carport. But first, a big clean up of the area and some design concepts for discussion with the customer.

The bee garden project comes to an end, for now.

My customer wanted a natural, wild bee-attracting garden from this empty space on his property. I kept things simple, planted hardy, Macedon Ranges staples and in Spring we’ll plant lots of flowers and wait for the bees.

Onto my next project. 😊

Next project. Building a bee attracting flower garden in Woodend. There will be a path with a seating area and a rustic design built with found items on the property. Planting lots of native grasses to create density and will attempt to direct sow flower seeds and hope for the best.
