I really need to remember to take some “before” shots rather than having to steal them from google maps!
Here’s one we just finished at Maylands.
The sleek lines and matt black finish almost make it look like steel but I can assure you its timber.
Every screw hole filled and every rail notched.
Complete with automated sliding gate.

Some photo’s of some recent glass pool fencing jobs completed.
When installing glass fencing on top of pavers you can’t fix to the pavers, they need to be removed so that a 300x300mm reinforced concrete beam can be laid underneath with the pavers then laid back on top of the wet concrete.
This allows us to then core drill through the pavers into the concrete beam for each individual spigot.
This way the spigots once grouted can’t move independently of each other and the glass panels stay straight and level for many years to come.
Glass pool fencing is more expensive than tubular but the finished product speaks for itself.
Budget price $400-600 per lineal metre.

Another one bites the dust.
These unfortunate people had their 150 year old back fence fall over and 150 years ago they built them to last and last it did, 149.5 years to be precise!

The job involved removal of the old damaged wall (14 tonne of it) and installation of a new retaining wall with post and rail colorbond fence on top.

The owners of the units on the other side of the fence wanted a different colour to the home owner so the fence had to be double clad to achieve the desired outcome.

We brought in some new plants and over 3 tonne of Jeffries special soil to top dress the garden and wheel tracks left by the bobcat and excavator so that the lawn and garden will be back to normal in no time!

A couple of jobs finished in July including 3 houses next to each other in Prospect and a customer in Lockleys who had a large branch off the neighbours gum tree fall on his sliding gate and adjacent fence panel.
Even though it was only the gate and 1 of 6 fence panels that were damaged, the rest of the fence had been there for nearly 10 years and the powder coating had faded in the sun. If only replacing the damaged parts the difference between the dull faded coating on the old versus the new would have stood out from a mile away so it made sense to replace everything and start a fresh.

Spruced up entrance to rear property @ Forrestville with supply and install of automated swing gate and letterbox panel.

The gate motor is low voltage so no need to bury a 240v supply all the way from the house at the rear.

Installing fencing to “back of kerb” can only mean one thing, bring your jackhammer!
Concreter’s will understandably only form the top 100mm of the back of kerb so due to the excavation being deeper than that, concrete spills out under the form work.

This is fine until fence posts need to be installed to “back of kerb”, hence the need to jackhammer....every hole!

Installing fencing to “back of kerb” always means getting the jackhammer out!
Concreter’s will understandably only form the top 100mm and then whatever blows out under their form work is not their issue.

It becomes a fencers issue when they are asked to install the fence to “back of kerb” as the concrete that’s spilled out is now in the way of where the fence post should go.

Hence the need to have to jackhammer it out of the way on every hole.
