OP SHOPPING // is my hobby ... not to purchase necessarily as minimalism is my ultimate goal but to just immerse myself in the nostalgia and to feed my obsession with being resourceful and sustainable ... this week I grabbed some tongs and cork mats and a smaller salad bowl as we are hosting Christmas and you can never have enough tongs! Then a purchase of an original Diana wall planter (not everyone's taste but I LOVE IT and that's all that matters)

When you book a declutter with us we can take away donations to drop off to charities to ensure you're not left overwhelmed by the amount you choose to set free 💚

Finly had some time to potter today so I have tried once again to create a solution to school folders and bags being left everywhere which drives me insane ...

🔩 drilled a nail on each side of desk for both kids to hang their school folders (homework/library) and tied some coloured thread to identify who's is whose 🧵

🏫 school bags are kept in same area next to folders (still visible in our house which I'm okay w but out of the way)

It isn't flash and all using what I had but it's functional and that's all that matters!

When items have permanent homes it can reduce frustration and create independence for those responsible for 'homing' said items.

Collect soft plastics, drop into Woollies or Coles when you have a full bag ... I really don't understand how hard this is? ♻️👏🌳💜🌏

Plastic bags do not belong in kerbside recycling!
The #1 item that spoils recycling bins is soft plastic. Take them to Coles or Woolies to be recycled through the REDcycle program and lets (kindly) tell our housemates or neighbours to do the same!
