Hi there everyone 👋

Just a quick little update that things have taken a slight unintended hiatus...nothing serious.

I have had a low-speed domestic trauma with a secondary gravity-assisted impact resulting in a closed non-displaced fracture of the proximal phalanx.....
...In other words, I stubbed my toe like a muppet then gravity found something and said "hold my beer"

Out for a couple of weeks so I will get back to everyone in due time.

Another one close to home 👌

Just wrapped up a full kitchen refresh for Mum.

✅Stripped out all the old cabinetry
✅Installed new Kaboodle Kitchen cabinetry
✅Relocated Power Points
✅Added a dishwasher
✅Fresh Paint Throughout

Clean, Modern and way more functional - without changing the footprint. Proof you don't always need a full structural reno to completely transform a space.

A huge shoutout to the friends and family that gave Mum and myself there time to help this project come to life. Damo, Wilba, Sarah & AJ, Jess, Keen & Rueben and I'm sure I've missed more, Thank You!

Pretty proud of how this one turned out (and Mum's happy, which is the real review that counts 😄)

Something a little different on this one 👀🛠️

Rural jobs like this really do hit different — out bush with less noise, less traffic, and the space to get the basics right from day one 🌾

This build was completed from the ground up, with a focus on solid structure, practicality, and longevity — designed to suit the environment it’s in, not just to tick a box.

A big thank you to Newbrook Estate for the opportunity and the trust 🤝 Always a pleasure working with good people in great locations.

What started as an ensuite with no door is now fully sorted for privacy and style.

Returning customer is happy, and now no one has to pretend they “didn’t see anything” anymore 😄

The last few weeks have had me helping out my mentor and teacher. The man who taught me what I know today.

Annnnd we're back!

I must say though, I have never come back from any holiday feeling relaxed, refreshed & reinvigorated to get back into work.

What an epic few days.

🌴 Taking a Breather! ⛳

Hey legends – just a heads up I’m off on a much-needed break (boys’ golf trip 🍻) from this arvo until Monday 1st September.

Phone will be off, beers will be cold, and golf balls will probably be lost 😂. I’ll catch up on all messages and enquiries once I’m back on deck.

Stage 1 of 2

Kitchen / Lunch room

The day the mezzanine was completed we were straight in to mark out and start framing.
Whilst working with tilt-up panels can present it's challenges, multiple measurements and back and forth with the client, we were able to square up the room and work out the cavity sliders to finish nicely.

Once framed, the sparky's were itching to get in, so a big shoutout to the guys at KNP Electrics for a very prompt turnaround with the pre-wire, had us ready to whack some board on the walls.

Door's in, flush pull handles fitted, board on and we are ready for the flusher 👌

Last weeks job before the next big one kicks off in the next week or so.

The client wanted the windows boarded off due to glancing light and barking dogs, so we tailored a solution to fix the problem.

Using a wet area fibre cement lining board ensured we don't have any issues with moisture and rot, and also provided a suitable substrate to tile the new splashback to.

Another job ticked off and another happy client.

We were back at a regular client's on Monday to fit the door we widened.

A better storage solution was what the client wanted, after using a set of bedside drawers for years.

With the limited space available we were able to source a skinnier flatpack cabinet that fit the space perfectly, and coupled with the installation of a barn slider, we ended up with 10mm to spare!

Due to the nature of the barn slider, we had to add some extra height and width to the door, which obviously isn't as ideal as the manufacturer reccommended one, but it can be done, and still works as intended.

All in all a great outcome and a happy client.
