Apprentice Carpenter Wanted!!

Location: Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in carpentry to join our team at Sunshine Coast Deck Specialists as a Carpenter Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop valuable skills in the carpentry trade while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in reading and interpreting plans.
• Support in planning and coordinating daily works.
• Learn and contribute to constructing building frameworks from start to finish.
• Assist in installing roof systems, including flashings and gutters.
• Follow all building codes, safety standards, and regulations under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the team and clients.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in carpentry.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Reliable transport to and from job sites.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.
