12” breakthrough hole completed into some old underground workings. The hole will be used to access the water in the underground to pump to the plant.

Target hit, job completed no fuss in and out.

Recent bore completed in the hills of Cooma. This site we picked surprised us a little. We picked the site using geophysical and geological mapping where a faulting system was identified running along the boundary of the property. We hadn’t completed any bores in this area previous and with very little info on surrounding bores available we were unsure what to expect. The few bores surrounding this site were all low yielding from 0.2 - 1 L/sec.

We picked the target on the fault line and went to 54m where we hit a highly fractured slate formation with around 30 L/sec. The water was excellent quality with an EC of 297. 💦💦

El Niño is certainly here in some parts of the state. With lots of interest at the field days, even the camels were in line to put there name down for a bore.
