It’s a sad day to finally announce the closure of Shady Routes Landscapes!! I will however still be tackling Permaculture projects and consults due to being passionate about a sustainable future and high demands.
I unfortunately have been battling with a degenerative spinal issue that’s kept me from working full time and it’s made my reliability suffer as a result for deadlines and delivering 100% satisfaction.
It’s been the best job I’ve ever had and I’ve built some great relationships with clients, community and families. I thank those who put trust in me with your yard and I’ve loved the great feedback and word of mouth as a result!!

I have to personally thank Rhonda(PRD Maitland) for hiring me as a handyman a few years back and making me believe in my abilities as a sole trader and supporting me to fast track my dream. A great life mentor indeed.
I even got a 30th birthday bottle of spirits from Pauline Hanson for fixing a pigeon problem at her pub in Maitland.
Sponsored a player in Wollongong mustangs gridiron team, Sponsored a player in the Palmerston Raiders Rugby league team and also had the opportunity to help people in need with my abilities.
Pretty cool memories.

I have a few final jobs to do in the next week so if you see me around the greater Darwin area come and have a yarn.

Got an urgent call out from for a touch up to the VIP and smoking area for Flight Facilities at the Darwin Amphitheatre the day of the gig.
Will always try to do whatever I can to help my clients out! All in a days work and what a way to end that one!

Commercial Garden maintenance services
What a place to work let alone a place for kids to grow! This was my eldest sons very first daycare before we moved further out of town, we were sad to leave it so proud to be back tending to the grounds and keeping it in good nick for the staff and the kids!
They’ve got a Herb and flower garden, an airplane playground and sandpit, a bike track, a fig tree, a lot of weeding, pruning, irrigation, clean up and sandpit maintenance.

The manager of the beachfront wanted a Natural screen established to give this area some privacy from the street. Fences are in place while they establish to stop shortcuts through the new plantation. Should be a lush leafy wall in due time.

Shady Routes provides landscape services, commercial, residential and strata lawn & garden maintenance and permaculture design services to the Greater Darwin Region.

Casual landscape labourer wanted for Shady Routes Landscapes & Permaculture Services. Casual position required for 3-5days per week, above award wage.

An Apprenticeship is also on offer for the right candidate (Certificate III Horticulture - landscape construction)

Applicants must be keen to work, white card ready and drivers licence is essential.

Front Yard Makeover at Farrar. Stage One complete.

A tropical garden refresh. Overgrown, bushy plants removed, trees pruned, more maintainable plants selected, irrigation repaired and garden fertilised and mulched.
