ETABS is a very useful software for the structural analysis and design of buildings. It offers 3D object based modeling and visualization tools that allow users to quickly and easily understand analysis and design results.
This tutorial shows two important options at ETABS while defining material properties.
1. Reinforcement to be designed : use to design a new building
2. Reinforcement to be checked : use to perform structural assessment of an existing building.
