Introducing our latest duplex project
𝐑𝐚𝐰 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬
We paired the cool, industrial feel of exposed concrete with the warmth of red brick and natural wood louvers to create a facade that feels both grounded and vibrant. The signature red staircase volume acts as the heart of the home, breaking the monochrome palette and guiding the eye upward.

প্রায় একশ বছরের মধ্যে দেশে বড় ভূমিকম্প হয়নি। কিন্তু আমাদের দেশে বড় ভূমিকম্প হওয়ার ইতিহাস রয়েছে। সেদিক থেকে এই ভূমিকম্পটিকে 'ফোরশক' বলা যায়।

অর্থাৎ, একটি বড় ভূমিকম্প আসার আগে যে ছোট ছোট ভূমিকম্পগুলো হয়, এটি তার মধ্যে একটি।

ঐতিহাসিক তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ৭ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্প ১০০ থেকে ১২৫ বছর পরপর এবং ৮ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্প ২৫০ থেকে ৩০০ বছর পরপর আসার সম্ভাবনা থাকে।

১৯৩০ সালের পর দেশে বড় ভূমিকম্প না হওয়ায় ঝুঁকি তৈরি হয়েছে।

আজকের ভূমিকম্পটির স্থায়িত্ব ছিল প্রায় ২০ সেকেন্ড। এতেই ঢাকা শহরের অনেক বাড়ি ও স্থাপনায় ফাটল দেখা দিয়েছে। বিল্ডিং কোড না মেনে ভবন নির্মাণ করায় এমনটা হয়েছে।

'হিসাব বলছে, ঢাকার ১০০ কিলোমিটারের মধ্যে যদি ৭ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্প হয়, তাহলে এক থেকে তিন লাখ মানুষ হতাহত হতে পারে এবং শহরের প্রায় ৩৫ শতাংশ ভবন ধসে পড়ার আশঙ্কা আছে।'

'২০০৭ সাল থেকে ডিজিটাল পদ্ধতিতে ভূমিকম্প পর্যবেক্ষণ শুরুর পর থেকে ঢাকার আশপাশে ৫ দশমিক ৭ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্প এটাই সর্বোচ্চ।'
