Curious About Our Germination Rates? ›
The Best Things Don’t Come Easy
Providing seeds that are known across the country for their high germination rates isn’t easy work.
It requires top inventory management and regular testing and inspection.
We turn over our inventory twice as often as the industry standard, which means our seeds spend less time sitting in the warehouse collecting dust. The result? You get fresher seeds.
In addition to being regularly tested by the Utah Department of Agriculture, our seeds also undergo testing and inspection by our internal quality control team (not required, but we do it anyway!).
If we told you how often we test and inspect our seeds, you’d probably think we were a bit obsessive.
Maybe we are.
But that’s just what it takes to ensure seeds that are of the highest quality — time after time after time after... You get the idea.
This extra attention to detail makes a huge difference, and you get to reap all of the benefits.
For that, our customers thank us. Really, check out our reviews and see why 70% of our sales come from past customers!

Viola x wittrockiana is a hybrid resulting from tri-colored violas. The pansy only exists as a result of mass crossing and hybridizing of the viola during the 19th century and has never grown naturally in the wild. There is much debate and etymological red tape about interchanging the common terms “pansies”, “violas”, and “violets”. The species wittrockiana pays homage to 19th century pioneering botanist Veit Brecher Wittrock
