The building is planned with two units per floor, separated by a green vertical terrace that works as a natural buffer. Every room ensures cross ventilation through balconies, voids, and openings. The front balconies open toward the heritage Ashkar Dighi, strengthening the visual and contextual connection, all developed on a 9.56 katha site.

Renowned architect Frank Gehry has passed away at the age of 96.

One of the world's most iconic architects, Gehry crafted cultural landmarks around the world, pioneering new approaches in parametric design that fundamentally changed modern practice. The 1989 Pritzker Prize Winner was also famous for his outspoken personality, challenging the profession to push boundaries and develop radical new ways to enhance the built environment. Architizer will explore his legacy in the coming weeks, and celebrate the unparalleled impact Gehry has had on architecture over the past half century.

In an interview with Architizer in 2023, Gehry was asked: "If you could give one piece of advice to the next generation of architects, what would it be?"

His answer spoke volumes:

"Be curious and work hard. Whatever you do, do your very best at it."

'Vision for Meena'
By: Adrita Islam Sajuti and Team.

I imagined it as what if Meena had a 'fourth wish.

Mina-Raju’s Tea Stall is a traveling space blending storytelling, sustainability, and cultural heritage. Inspired by Mina’s fourth wish, it brings communities together through tea, folk performances, and interactive learning. Breaking gender norms, Mina, a confident young woman, leads the stall, fostering education and inclusivity. The mobile, eco-friendly design uses reusable bamboo and palate wood, with a birdhouse promoting sustainability. Offering seasonal teas, the stall serves all, from students to farmers, and creates a welcoming space for everyone. It supports local fairs and exhibitions, adaptable to various locations, making it a dynamic hub for community engagement.

The East Pakistan Agricultural University is established as the only university of its kind in East Pakistan on August 18, 1961. The campus opens with a College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
The campus site has an area of 1.87 square miles (4.85 square kilometers) located in a rural area 1.9 miles (3 kilometers) south of the district town of Mymensingh on the western side of the old Brahmaputra river.
The project scope is to design an expansion of the campus including a new master plan, auditorium, dormitories, laboratories, instruction, and recreation facilities.

A master plan for this campus (one-third of the campus has been completed by others) orients all buildings in a north-south direction to catch the maximum amount of breeze. Venturi action and air scoops in the section and plan are incorporated and account for the opening and closing character of the design.
