Some recipes just feel special the moment they come out of the oven.

This Yemeni Honeycomb Bread is one of them. Soft, golden, and beautifully fluffy, each little bun is filled with smooth cream cheese. When you pull one apart, the creamy center slowly melts into the warm bread. Then a light drizzle of sweet syrup ties everything together perfectly.
It’s pillowy, slightly sweet, and incredibly comforting- the kind of treat that disappears quickly when shared with family over tea.
Freshly baked, made with care, and honestly one of my favorite things to make. If you love soft bread and creamy fillings, you will love this.

My oldie and goodie Buttery Dinner rolls! They are just so yum it is a perfect addition to your morning breakfast and or a snack! I have mine with tea or just fill them up with cucumber tomato and mayo! Simple and filling!

Granola is back!

If this is your first time trying granola. Note that it is baked rolled oats. We do not use instant Quaker oats, but whole rolled oats. It is higher in fiber and nutrition. Keeps you full for longer hours.

The sweetness comes from the honey and as a healthy
fat we use our premium ghee. Granola can be eaten just like a snack on its own or added to warm milk or cold yogurt. fresh fruits,added nuts,honey or maple syrup all these can be added to enhance the sweetness and texture of granola,as per your liking.

This is an ideal item for opening your fast or even for your suhoor meal.

One of my favourite drinks! The Liberty Faluda in Chattogram is my favourite! This one in the picture is made by my fufu. And she makes one of the bestest Faluda! It has just the right amount of sagopayesh, chilled noodles and colored gelo!(Non flavoured) A good scope of ice cream!

আমার আম্মু এখন আমার চট্টগ্রামের কিচেন ‘Wing’ দেখাশোনা করেন। কখন অর্ডার আসে, তখন বাজারটা আব্বু করে আনেন। আর আম্মু সেগুলো রান্না করেন, সুন্দর করে রেডি করে সাজিয়ে দেন। এরপর আব্বু প্যাকেট করেন আর তার সুন্দর হাতে উপরে ঠিকানা লিখে দেন। তাঁর হাতের লেখাটা এত সুন্দর, সেটা আলাদা একটা শান্তি দেয় চোখে।

ওদের এই একসাথে কাজ করা দেখে আমার ভীষণ ভালো লাগে। এখন ওদের সময় এমনভাবেই কেটে যায়—সবাই মিলে কিছু একটা তৈরি করছে, সাজাচ্ছে, পাঠাচ্ছে। এটা দেখলে মনটা হালকা হয়ে যায়, ভালো লাগে।

আজকে একটা অর্ডার এসেছে সিলেটের এক আপুর কাছ থেকে। তিনি তাঁর বোনের শ্বশুরবাড়ি, চট্টগ্রামে, সেখানে ‘AI মাটন লেগ রোস্ট’ এর একটা প্ল্যাটার পাঠিয়েছেন। দেখি, আম্মু সেটা সাজিয়ে ওপরে রিবন আর একটা ছোট্ট ফুলও লাগিয়ে দিয়েছেন। এত সুন্দরভাবে সব করছে—ভেবে অবাক হই। কখন যে আম্মু এতটা ক্রিয়েটিভ হয়ে গেলেন, মাঝে মাঝে সেটা নিয়ে ভাবতে ভালোই লাগে।

From Panic to Perfect Bakes: A Throwback Baking Miracle

Growing up, I always heard stories about how my Nanu used to bake cakes on the stovetop using loose sand as a heat conductor. It sounded like magic back then. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be doing the same one day!

Fast forward to just two days ago—I had a packed order for banana bread, brownies, and choco chunk cookies. The brownies were out, cookies done, and just as I placed the banana bread in the oven… disaster struck —the oven wasn’t heating up 😱

With just 1.5 hours left to bake, cool, and pack everything for dispatch, panic set in. But then, a little voice in my head whispered: “Remember Nanu’s stovetop trick?” In that moment of chaos, I decided to give it a shot.

I had no clue how I’d control the temperature or which vessel to use. But within seconds, instinct (and probably a little divine help 🙏🏽) kicked in. I set up my makeshift stovetop oven, carefully placed my oven thermometer inside the pot, and hoped for the best.

And would you believe it? The banana bread came out gorgeous and perfectly baked! The top could’ve been a little darker, but hey, the sides more than made up for it. Alhamdulillah, it was a win I didn’t see coming.

Now I’m more determined than ever to try baking a cheesecake on the stovetop! Because where there’s a will—and a little family wisdom—there’s always a way 💪🏽❤️
