■ TROPPO FISO! ■

Troppo fiso!‘Troppo fiso!’ - too still! - says the goddess to Dante as his penitent soul travelsthrough the Purgatory. His journey through the seven purges of the soul thusbecomes about ever going forward, relinquishing sin as he reaches God’s light.Traumnovelle and Sébastien Lacomblez reveal light as the primary architectural material. They transform the experience of the Horst festival into a luminous poemand an introspective and collective journey inside an architecture in perpetual evolution. Offering each participant their own Divine Comedy, the experience is anode to movement. It plunges the crowd into a cathartic and ineluctable march forward, taking them through the successive circles of a purgatory of light. Traumnovelle and Sébastien Lacomblez offer an aesthetic and symbolic journey mixing architecture and the world of the night.

■ EURECA ■
Last May, we discussed with A+ Architecture in Belgium our Europan Union Climate Resistance Agency, a continent-scale plan of climate-resistant infrastructure. Using the Polish territory as case study, EURECA aims to increase civilian resilience and empowering localities through landscape-scaled interventions.
EURECA is part of the "Trouble in Paradise" exhibition in the Polish Pavilion at the La Biennale di Venezia 2021. The exhibition is curated by PROLOG and organised by Zachęta Narodowa Galeria Sztuki / Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw.
Thank you Lisa De Visscher and Eline Dehullu for the chat!

■ URBAN SUMMER ■
Opening tonight at 7pm on Mont des Arts in Brussels!
humbble, Katía Truijen and Traumnovelle curated a two-week programme of festive, cultural and architectural explorations under the theme "FUNDAMENTAL ACTS", exploring the ways in which architecture and spaces can contribute to (re)forming the rituals and ceremonies of collective living.

We are proud to present architectural activations responding to each of the five fundamental acts of Life, Education, Ceremony, Love and Death by Something Fantastic, Jean-Benoît Vétillard, raumlaborberlin, studio Donna Van Milligen Bielke and Ard de Dries Architecten and Carbonifère (Sébastien Lacomblez and Thomas Delin), as well as many performances by Florian Fischer, WAI Architecture Think Tank, Maak & Transmettre asbl, Bozar, LY Foulidis (LY Foulidis Summer), Velma Spell, La Rivoluzione delle Seppie, Giulia Ricci, Alexander Auris, Ignatz and Farida Amadou, as well as an exhibition by A+ Architecture in Belgium, workshops, guided tours and more. ■ EURECA ■

We are delighted to be part of the exhibition "Trouble in Paradise" curated by the amazing PROLOG +1 in the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale/Pawilon Polski na Biennale w Wenecji with Atelier Fanelsa, GUBAHÁMORI + Filip + László Demeter, KOSMOS, Rural Office for Architecture and RZUT!

We hope to see you all in Venice the 22 May, as well as online as part of a specially designed digital version of the exhibition at www.labiennale.art.pl.

We are very excited to announce the participation of 6 European architectural studios in the “Trouble in Paradise” exhibition in the Polish Pavilion. Atelier Fanelsa, GUBAHÁMORI + Filip + László Demeter, KOSMOS Architects, Rural Office for Architecture, RZUT and Traumnovelle have all accepted the invitation from PROLOG +1, exhibition curators, to collaborate in the speculative part of the project. The results of their work will be on view in the Polish Pavilion starting 22 May, as well as online as part of a specially designed digital version of the exhibition at www.labiennale.art.pl. For the next two weeks will present the topics of their projects, where the diversity of points of view and the juxtaposition of different perspectives are linked by a reflection on the effects of rural exploitation, climate disasters or global crises.
