KNUD FRIIS & ELMAR MOLTKE NIELSEN
SET OF 4 CHAIRS
DENMARK - 1970

Knud Friis (1926-2010) and Elmar Moltke Nielsen (1924-1997) were two Danish Architects who founded their practice in 1954 called Friis & Moltke. In the 1960s, they introduced Danes to their mild version of Brutalism, which often featured huge, robust building structures tucked into the landscape, raw concrete walls and visible technical installations.
This set of 4 bentwood chairs designed for Getama in the 70s are handmade with iron straps visible at the back & recently reupholstered by one of our craftsmen.

MAISON REGAIN
LOUNGE CHAIR AND OTTOMAN

Lounge chair by Maison Regain from the 1970s, accompanied by its matching ottoman. The piece features a solid elm structure, defined by thick sections and a strong architectural presence. Slightly softened edges temper the overall rigidity of the form.

CHRISTOPHE GEVERS
OTTOMAN
BELGIUM - 1970S

Christophe Gevers embodies a true architecture of detail. His work is defined by precise lines, balanced proportions, and a constant dialogue between aesthetics and function. Every element is carefully considered, every form serves a purpose, nothing is left to chance.
His approach highlights the restraint of materials while elevating the craftsmanship behind each piece. Gevers conceived his designs as coherent wholes, where every component has its place and reason for being.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential Belgian designers of the second half of the 20th century, he built a multifaceted career as an interior architect, product designer, and professor at La Cambre (ENSAV) in Brussels, leaving a lasting impact on design in both Belgium and France.

This former farmhouse has been renovated with a focus on preserving its original character while adapting it to modern living. Main historic elements, such as the old doors, floors, and white-and-blue tiles, have been retained and seamlessly integrated into a new architectural vision that balances heritage with contemporary design.
