Renovation Church Grote Heide, Pelt - Start of construction

The historic church building is being transformed into an inviting meeting centre and village café, with multipurpose rooms for community life and the nearby school. The church will thus remain a central place in the bustling village life. A great step towards strengthening village life in Grote Heide!

De Gouden Liniaal Architecten is genomineerd voor de Limburgse Bouwawards 2024 met onze onlangs opgeleverde technische school op Campus de Helix in Maasmechelen.

Hierbij een warme oproep om ons project naar de publieksprijs te loodsen. Stemmen kan tot 23 mei via link in bio (https://stem.bouwunielimburg.be/)

De nieuwbouw voor Campus de Helix is een oefening in radicale functionele en technische flexibiliteit, gevat in een twaalfhoekig grondplan, waarbij op elk van de 3 bouwlagen identieke (klas)modules geschakeld kunnen worden rondom een centraal atrium, dat tegelijk expansievat en lichtschacht is. Een compact, robuust, aanpasbaar en daardoor uiterst toekomstbestendig gebouw.

De Gouden Liniaal Architecten has been nominated for the Limburg Building Awards 2024 with our recently completed technical school on Campus de Helix in Maasmechelen.

The new building for Campus de Helix is an exercise in radical functional and technical flexibility, set in a twelve-sided floor plan, where identical (class)modules on each of the three floors can be arranged around a central atrium, which is both an expansion vessel and a light shaft. A compact, robust, adaptable and therefore extremely future-proof building.

Consortium Team van Meer! – De Gouden Liniaal Architecten – BEC wins the design competition for the first phase of the restoration and redevelopment of the Citadel of Diest. Late last year, the jury of the Urban Renewal Fund praised the project's clear vision, innovative character and high social added value.

This originally military stronghold will in the near future house a tourist reception centre, a war museum and an art academy. The imposing, 5-metre-thick green roof will be transformed into a public park with a focus on experience, encounters and biodiversity.

Being our main earth consultant, played a key role in the Negenoord watchtower project, and recently made this lovely model for us 😍 Go touch it at the Care for Space for Care exhibition by in !

The Negenoord observation tower in its current conditions. The small hill, located in the middle of the nature reserve and created to keep the tower safe from floods, is now the last refuge of the wild horses and cattle that live there. Luckily the water level is now dropping again.
