Collectie centrum in Antwerp, designed by Dierendonckblancke architecten together with Claeys / Haelvoet architecten, has been announced as the winner of ‘the Competition entry prize’ of this year’s AR Future Projects awards !

Competition proposal for the new heritage and art depot for the city of Antwerp i.c.w. expertises&security .be

“The project proposes a five-storey underground storage depot crowned at ground level by a circular brick volume. Like a pavilion in the park, it has a strong civic presence signifying that the collection centre is more than just a workplace and storage facility.
Logistics areas, workshops, a café and offices are arranged like a carousel around a square core with a double-height central display area.
The proposal uses soil as a thermal buffer so that the underground storage spaces would require no heating or cooling.”

Social housing project Condor, Sint-Jans-Molenbeek. On display at the Swiss Architecture Museum , as part of ‘Soft Power: the Brussels Way of Making the City’. The exhibition highlights the work of the during the last decade and takes place from the 19th of October ‘24 until the 16th of March ‘25.
