My chopped variegated monstera. That is just grow wild and free !! 🫣💚 Just got another cutting of it. So tiny vs the motherleaf.☺️

Monstera’s love a rootball. That dries out between water gifts and yes drainage is important for the plant types. So drainage a chunky mix with perlite/bark or loose cocos fibre is recommended. Offcourse you have so many substrates to grow up a plant. These days.👀

Today a variegated joepii !! 💚 Named after Joep Moonen. So a true honor for the name. ✌️

Its comes from French Guiana and a few other small area’s. There are speculations of a natural crossing between bipennifolium and pedatum. Just from mother’s nature. But still not 100% sure on that part.

It could be. If i look to the fenotype. ☺️

This type was so expensive 3-4 years ago. Even just a green one. So it was a long time on the wishlist. First impressions. A more slower grower. First new airealroot coming up and thickening cataphyll. Lets see !! 🪴

Still i love hybrids with Florida Beauty. Because in general they are catchy and sometimes even stronger. Then one of the parent plants. A new leaf popped out with this one. Real arrow head leaf shapes with yellow variegation. A perfect combo !!

They predict 30 degrees or more this weekend. So check your plants more often. Especially on a southside/apartment/veranda. Because there its even faster. Humidity level will drop also and even a burn spot can happen !! ☀️🔥 When you have big windows for example. I increase humidity level a bit always. Close to summer. Because most urban jungle plants. Like a higher humidity level !! ✌️

So many plants are rooting and growing so fast atm. I can not stop looking at them. Still with a amazing feeling !! 🪴

My best variegated so far. Was one of my first. At the plant collection !! 🪴🐸

New leaf and airealroot coming up and a tiny 3D bulbasaur. As a finishing touch !! 👌🏻 Our new mascotte !! 👀🫡

Still these TC plants are fast growers. Great spots and speckles. That are worthy of the pokemon name. Stil i hope to find the ‘botanical Bulbasaur’. Some day !! ✌️

Variegated Red Congo repotted TC plant. Giving its first new leaves. After repotting !! 🙌

Its a hybrid between Imperial Red and a strong upright species from the Philodendron tatei group. Growing more upright in comparison with other congo types in general. Still these can get huge in size either. So happy that i find one.

Offcourse its a TC plant. That you can see a few typical characteristics. Like the very tiny mini leaves and plantfood. So always more fragile at the beginning. From in vitro to in vivo (example greenhouse) !!

Red congo’s have a very intense reddish orange color sometimes. That makes it all worth to grow it. Lets see !!🪴

I let it grow at the growtent with 12-13 hours light cylce and humidity of 65-75 %. Temperature above 20 degrees always. Also increased my growlamp a tiny bit. Because i have a lot of mini/baby plants to grow up again. ✌️
