The Rhubarb Information Centre The Rhubarb Information Centre works to increase knowledge of and use of rhubarb as a food item. Because it's good. Because it's easy to prepare.

Because it's healthy. We plant rhubarb, and we plant different species. We are concerned with the cultural history of rhubarb. We give classes in how to grow rhubarb. We import rhubarb (it is not available in Bulgaria, neither as a plant nor as seeds). We organize training in how to use rhubarb in various dishes. And finally, when it is in sen we eat rhubasoarb! :-)

Different Types of Rhubarb.

The simplest way - but by no means a definite one - to detect which type it is is to look at the leaf stem. To simplify: one type have all green stems, and another type has reddish stems (then there are all the variants in between). Here in Norway the latter is the most sought after, and in popular parlance it is referred to as "strawberry rhubarb",

New Consignment of Rhubarb Seeds Just Arrived!

We have just received a consignment of Rhubarb seeds, from Poland and from Ultima Thule this time. These are two new types of seeds. We are certain you will like them!
This season we will use these seeds in a training course, aimed at showing how to plant rhubarb seeds, and how to take care of the plants. Details to come!
