VerdeDesign „Verde design" specializes in the design and construction of green spaces - public parks and private gardens, vertical landscaping and green roof design.

Our mission is to improve the city environment and our work has a primary role in the transformation of the urban space. Green roofs go beyond the meaning of contemporary architecture and give a new value to the city structures. Roof gardens are designed not only to bring back the natural element in the urban environment but also to provide solutions for important issues. We observe that the built

areas are increasing and the green spaces are insufficient. Conditions near the streets are worsening every day and the pollutants in the air have a bad influence on the quality of life. Also people use public transport all the time but often the bus stops are rusty and broken. This environment is inappropriate for the citizens and this non-friendly view has to be changed. We offer cure to this pain - a new type of bus stop – “Viritas”. Our product is socially and ecologically orientated. It has a practical construction, innovative design and an extensive green roof which will improve the conditions of the immediate environment. The plants on the roof top will take part in the assimilation of CO2 and the cooling of the air together with retaining the dust. Furthermore it will reduce the water run-off and will protect the structure from external effects. The bus stop is also supplied with a screen for information and advertisement, possibility for installing a solar system and a place for disabled people.

„Верде дизайн“ е новорегистрирано дружество, което се занимава с проектиране и изграждане на зелени пространства – паркове и градини, вертикално и покривно озеленяване. Усилията на фирмата са насочени също към благоустрояване на градовете като се започне от най – малките единици – терени около търговски постройки, междублокови пространства и други. По – този начин, стъпка по стъпка, цялостният облик на града ще бъде подобрен. Дружеството поема както нови обекти, така и реконструкции и поддръжка на вече изградени проекти.

Във Варна се проведе Първи студентски фолклорен фестивал "Срещи на приятелството". Участваха ансамблите и съставитe на Медицински университет – Варна, Технически университет – Варна, Варненски свободен университет, Технически университет – София, Университет по хранителни технологии – Пловдив, Академия за музикално, танцово и изобразително изкуство – Пловдив, Югозападен университет – Благоевград и Лесотехнически университет – София. Идеята е фестивалът да се превърне в ежегодно събитие, което да привлича все повече студентски състави както от страната, така и от европейски университети.
