A RUÍNA Arquitetura foi, durante os últimos anos, um espaço fértil para investigações e experimentações arquitetônicas críticas e regenerativas. Fundado pelas arquitetas Julia Peres e Victoria Braga, o estúdio se destacou pela prática sensível à reutilização de materiais, sustentabilidade, impacto social e curadoria espacial.

Hoje, após esse ciclo de intensas colaborações e aprendizados, anunciamos um novo caminho. Julia Peres segue com o escritório Julia Peres.Co Arquitetura (.co), aprofundando sua pesquisa sobre território, matéria e processos, entre a intersecção de design arquitetônico, curadoria espacial e estratégias de cadeia circulares — com o compromisso em criar espaços que respondam aos seus contextos sociais e ambientais. Paralelamente, Victoria Braga inicia uma nova etapa com a Anonima Arquitetura (), ampliando o compromisso com processos coletivos, ciclos materiais e futuros ecológicos. O estúdio atua com projeto, construção e pesquisa, entendendo a arquitetura como campo expandido — em diálogo com o tempo, o território e os modos de fazer compartilhados.

Em março de 2025, a RUÍNA Arquitetura participou do Practice Summit 2025, a convite do .institute , junto a escritórios que admiramos. O encontro promoveu reflexões sobre modelos de produção em arquitetura, destacando a urgência de práticas comprometidas com questões sociais, ambientais e políticas.

Acreditamos na arquitetura como ferramenta para tensionar o modelo vigente, ainda linear, e buscar alternativas circulares. Na América Latina, têm emergido respostas sensíveis e inovadoras a esses desafios.

Agradecemos pelo convite e pelas trocas que nos impulsionam a pensar uma arquitetura em diálogo com seu contexto.

In March 2025, RUÍNA Arquitetura joined the Practice Summit 2025—invited by the .institute —alongside practices we admire. The event encouraged reflection on architectural production models and the urgent need for socially, environmentally, and politically engaged approaches.

We see architecture as a tool to challenge the dominant linear model and to explore circular, context-based alternatives. In Latin America, meaningful and innovative responses to these challenges are emerging.

We’re grateful for the invitation and the exchange, which continue to inspire architecture in dialogue with its context.

2025 começou com o pontapé inicial do projeto Oasis Eco-social 9 de Julho, em parceria com , como parte do Practice Lab .institute 🌿
O projeto busca fortalecer os espaços comunitários da Ocupação 9 de Julho com infraestruturas regenerativas que potencializam as atividades já existentes. Através de oficinas colaborativas com os moradores, estamos construindo soluções que respondem diretamente às necessidades da comunidade.

A 27ª Bienal Internacional do Livro em São Paulo tem como convidado de honra a Colômbia este ano, e nós da RUÍNA ficamos muito felizes, a convite do escritório colombiano e , em fazer parte do projeto do Pavilhão da Colômbia sob o tem “A selva e suas histórias possíveis”.

Conceptual Project for Sthorm Festival
With the intention of fostering a continuous life for the festival and its structures, it’s crucial to acknowledge the existing community, its history, and the local context.
Our approach begins with understanding the place’s history and leveraging that knowledge to shape additional elements of the festival.
We perceive the creative economy as a viable alternative within our financial system. We introduce the concept of a matrix represented by the macro grid of existing industrial scaffolding—a structure often unseen yet shaping human and environmental interactions. It has a long lifespan, durability, and is the most reusable element in the construction industry.
We incorporate elements of local topography and regenerative land cultivation, aligning the festival with its landscape and advocating for sustainable practices. Central to this is our commitment to restore the riparian forest and reclaim the native forest.
People are invaluable components of our system, carrying within them the essence of everything. We introduce textiles as elements that shape environments, fostering connections between individuals and their surroundings. These textile spaces, respecting the land’s topography and echoing the planet’s suggestions, serve as realms for expansion and exploration, requiring skilled designers for their realization.
