sively. Zero is the invention of nothingness, the composition of the object does not exist, the perversion of numbers, it is the conformation of the void. The zero is the minimum factor of possibility for all other things. In set theory of Georg Cantor (1845-1918) Aleph is the letter used to denote the size (cardinality) of infinite sets. Aleph Zero is the first infinite cardinal, in which are included the prime numbers, integers, rational numbers, algebraic numbers, finite binary strings and finite subsets of any countable infinite. Aleph Zero represents, conceptually, the differentiation of the infinite, of the indefinite, the possibility of making comparable what is immeasurable, to conform emptiness, potential for all events. More than void and infinity by themselves, we are interested in the different ways in which concepts can be decomposed and recomposed in general.

T03 - Todo lugar é um lugar entre - Arquipeo

A intersecção entre o fazer manual e o fazer industrial informa a concepção do projeto. Sua estrutura de concreto pré-fabricado combina peças seriadas, como pilares e vigas, com elementos que abarcam técnicas artesanais, como empenas moldadas manualmente sobre camas de areia. Apesar do raciocínio industrial, as peças mantêm imperfeições comuns à natureza do concreto. As empenas, em especial, reiteram a presença humana do fazer que todo trabalho carrega, com texturas que evocam paisagens distantes da realidade de uma fábrica.

The intersection between manual craft and industrial
production informs the project’s conception. Its precast
concrete structure combines mass-produced components, such as columns and beams, with elements that embrace artisanal techniques, such as gables manually cast over sandbeds. Despite the industrial logic, the pieces retain the imperfections inherent to the nature of concrete. The gables, in particular, reiterate the human presence within the act of making that every labor carries, featuring textures that evoke landscapes far removed from the reality of a factory.

YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED, I AM NOT THERE ALONE (2025)

House in Santo André, Bahia.

What shaped me was time,
the soil
the sun.
I squirm,
I unfold,
I’m looking for something,
What is the logic of what is essential to me?
I approach the ground,
I tirelessly look at the stars
spring after spring
I look for water
I shelter in myself,
shelter others,
who knows.
In this unstable existence I move without moving.
By my side,
strange presences take shape,
figures of myself unfold into fragments of something that didn’t exist here before.
The birds told me,
I did not believe,
but these other bodies were born from the ground and not from the sky.

Todo lugar é um lugar Entre. (Arquipeo)
Imaginar um lugar entre parece uma contradição em si. Se um lugar é um espaço com algo que o diferencie de outro, a ideia do entre estabelece uma zona de suspensão que borra os limites entre distintos. Uma certa beleza pode emergir do encontro entre distintos.
São Paulo, com sua paisagem marcada por contrastes e lógicas opostas — como o traçado racional de suas vias frente à fluidez natural de seus rios —, configura-se como um território que desafia definições rígidas. É nesse contexto que se insere o projeto da nova sede da agência WPP, na Vila Leopoldina, região simbólica da transição entre a produção artesanal e a produção industrial.

Fertilizar o solo do museu é apresentar um outro caminho à sua modernidade, talvez tão passageiro quanto estável, tão contínuo quanto breve, até a própria natureza plantada encontrar na caminhada seu próprio solo fértil. A arquitetura será apenas vestígio de uma intenção que apaga a sua própria existência, apresentando a partir dela uma outra forma de nascer da caminhada. Se nascemos onde caminhamos, é olhando para o chão que aprendemos a caminhar.

To fertilize the soil of the museum is to present another path to its modernity, perhaps as fleeting as it is stable, as continuous as it is brief, until planted nature itself finds its own fertile soil in the walk. The architecture will be just a vestige of an intention that erases its own existence, presenting from it another way of being born from the walk. If we are born where we walk, it is by looking at the ground that we learn to walk.
