Now Hiring: Lead Hand / Foreman – Augerz Fencing
Augerz Fencing, located in Ile Des Chenes, is looking for a reliable, experienced Lead Hand / Foreman to run crews and keep projects moving efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage a small fencing crew on-site
Read layouts and ensure jobs are built to spec
Operate and oversee use of equipment (post augers, skid steers, etc.)
Delegate tasks and keep productivity high
Ensure quality control and clean, professional job sites
Communicate with ownership and clients when needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous fencing, construction, or landscaping experience (required)
Proven leadership ability (crew management experience preferred)
Strong work ethic — you show up and get it done
Ability to work long, physical days outdoors
Problem solver who doesn’t need hand-holding
Valid driver’s license, class 3 preferred
Schedule
Monday to Friday
8–10 hour days
Some weekend work depending on weather and workload
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience, starting at $30/hr.
