With the frigid cold temperatures, along with the 25+cm of snow we have received over the past 12 hours, it has posed challenges on my equipment and put me behind on my snow removal routes throughout the 108. Hydraulics, cold weather and compact snow just simply don’t mix.
I apologize if I didn’t make it to you, my regular clients, today. I want to thank you for your patience as I try and catch everyone up from this most recent snowfall. With warmer temperatures predicted and a reprieve from the snowfall, I am hoping to get everyone caught up by the end of the week.

It’s that time of year again! I’m booking clients for the upcoming 2021/2022 snow plowing season for those residents of the 108 Mile Ranch. Some clients want me to come every snowfall, some want me to come when it exceeds a certain depth, and nearly everyone wants a clean up after the snow plows have gone by. Be sure to give me a call, so I can have you booked into my regular route, and discuss your needs. I also offer drop in snow plowing for those I don’t serve on a regular basis. As always, I will do my best to fit you in on my travels along my regularly scheduled plowing route, however my first commitment is to those that pre-book the season 🙂

You have to love when neighbors work together!
One had a project that needed a lot of fill removed, and the other had a large low spot that needed to be filled.

It is night and day with the transition between these two homes now!

Next step is to finish up the wrap around drive on one owners side, and a perimeter fence down the property line. Good fences make good neighbors…or in this case….the dogs haven’t quite learnt how to get along as well as their owners have 🐶

When you can’t beat em, join em!…or is it “when life gives you lemons?
These clients were thinking on building a concrete block retaining wall with trenching to prevent spring run off from flooding their basement again. The challenge was they discovered a rock wall behind all of the dirt. When you can’t remove the rock, why not create a natural retaining wall and use what god gave you!

I’m not a great Facebook admin, and as you have probably noticed, I drastically fail on keeping this page current and up-to-date.
So, I have a favour to ask. If anyone has taken before and after pictures of landscaping/fencing projects completed by RKulyk Excavating, do you mind sending them via a pm?
As you have probably also noticed...the pictures on this page are also lacking, as well as my ability to remember to take some 😂

Thanks for any help, and a quick reminder to pre-book your winter snow plowing needs before you’re left in the snow, with no way out ;)

Couldn’t get plowed out from todays overwhelming snow fall, and not ready for the next system moving in on Friday? Are you running out of room to push snow? Don’t hesitate to give me a call and I can come have you cleared and cleaned up.
I offer reasonable rates, and will move those built up snowbanks back for you to give you more room, and widen the mouth of your driveway, to help prevent the big berm the grader is going to leave once he manages to get the 108 roads cleared.

Do you live in the 108? Did you get plowed in by the grader last night? Are you looking at the snow that fell overnight, and the berm at the end of your driveway and don’t have the energy to clear it yourself?
