It’s been three months since we made the move to our new studio space! We’re grateful for how quickly this space has filled with client meetings, design conversations, drawings, and plenty of new ideas. It’s been a good first few months here.

A first look at our Rural Scandinavian Residence through this preliminary concept sketch, created for a new custom home on an ALR property in Abbotsford.

Simple rooflines and restrained detailing give the home its Scandinavian influence, while the overall form feels well suited to the rural property around it.

The homeowners came to us looking for a team with experience designing within the Agricultural Land Reserve. ALR properties come with their own set of requirements, so part of our role has been working through those early while designing a home around how this family wants to live.

We’ve now wrapped up the preliminary design stage and are moving into the 3D model, where we’ll continue refining the exterior design and details.

Every home has a story and this one is getting a sequel!! We’re designing a brand new modern home with flat rooflines on a rural ALR property in Pitt Meadows. The fun plot twist is that we're reusing the existing foundation footprint of the original house built decades ago by the same homeowner. What a unique opportunity to honour the history of the property while creating something completely new for its next chapter.

The magical feeling of “this is home”. While we love the cohesive design details woven throughout this Langley Equestrian Estate, what we love most is the feeling it creates. That quiet pinch me moment when you pull into the driveway, take a deep breath, and simply feel at home.
