We have THREE different types of Kabocha squash in store right now!

Do you know about this squash?

Kabocha is a Japanese-style winter squash known for its sweet, rich flavour and creamy texture. Think somewhere between a sweet potato and a pumpkin, but with a slightly nutty flavour.

One of the best things about Kabocha is that the skin is edible once cooked, so you don't even have to peel it!

It's delicious roasted, tossed into soups and curries, mashed like potatoes, or simply sliced into wedges and roasted with a little oil, salt and pepper. It also works beautifully in baking.

If you've walked past these funky looking squash because you weren't quite sure what to do with them, this is your sign to give one a try!

Things are heating up at Wisbey Veggies!

Our homegrown habanero peppers are now in stock! These little peppers pack some serious heat, with a fruity, slightly sweet flavour hiding behind all that spice.

New to Wisbey's this week: Ultra Violet Super Sweet Corn! No it's not decorative corn! This gorgeous purple(ish) and white corn is absolutely delicious, sweet, tender and just as tasty as it looks.

And don't worry, our tried-and-true Yellow Vision Super Sweet Corn isn't going anywhere. We have both varieties in store today!
